The US & Canada are so closely intertwined

So why is the US alienating Canada?

Canadians thought things would be better when Obama was elected, but now I can see that Obama is no better than Bush when it comes to US Canada relations.

I remember a few years back when I was treated like I lived in Siberia instead of just next door. I was trying to do business with banks & get a simple merchant account, & was told because I was in Canada I was considered a foreigner.

I was upset & shocked at how I was treated.

Then over the years some American companies have treated me like I live a million miles away first not allowing Canadians to call their toll free number, or refusing to ship their products to us Canadians.

If an American company doesn’t consider Canadians their customers when they open their door for business, that message reeks of “attitude”, & this is exactly why Canadians have grown to distrust Americans.

I had one guy who sounded like he didn’t even know where Canada was. I chalked that up to him being a below average American, & I’ll never forget the time that a new friend in the US didn’t want to call me long distance because he thought the prices to call here were the same as him calling Russia LOL

Man I’d love to deck those ignorant Americans, but my point is, is the US going to treat Canada like garbage & alienate Canada as an ally too?

Isn’t it bad enough that they have alienated almost the entire rest of the world, now they want to alienate the only other country that sits right next to them & does a lot of business with them?

The Canadian people are feeling it, AND DON’T like it!

GIVE ME A BREAK!

Be aware of all the people you can vote for

Friday, October 24th, 2008

While I’m not into politics, one thing I am into is free will. We are all FREE spirits (humans if you wish to call yourself a human which yes, you are as well), so you have a choice, you can either be controlled by others, or you can be free to think for yourself.

I can’t make you think for yourself, because then you wouldn’t be using your free will to choose not to think for yourself. That’s why no one can change you, only you can change you.

Educating yourself doesn’t always mean you have all the facts, but a lot of the times it does if you dig a little deeper.

Most Americans think there are only 2 options for the NEXT president, but they have several more presidential options.

Ralph Nader is another one, & Cynthia McKinney from the Green Party is another. You probably don’t know this, because BIG corporations control what you see on mainstream TV, so unless you are REALLY into politics & most people aren’t, you are not privy to who else is on the ballot. Did you also know that they are preventing these other candidates from debating so you can hear/see what they have to say?

I personally have always respected Ralph Nader even though I don’t know that much about him, but back when he was on Donahue (I’m dating myself now), I loved what he had to say & I’ve heard him talk a few times recently, & he still impresses me.

So please be aware that you have more choices than JUST Obama & McCain

Vote for Ralph Nader

Saturday, October 4th, 2008

I wasn’t able to read this entire site because I just wanted to get this out there.

I can’t convince Americans to vote for Ralph Nader.

If they REALLY wanted change, they would, but a lot of humans say one thing & do another unfortunately.

For those of you who REALLY want change, please read this over.

This man is a sweetheart. I remember the first & only time I saw him on Donahoe, he blew me away.

Remember, your vote will either change things or not, & if Americans & Canadians continue to support the same people who have been in power politically for the last 100 years, NOTHING will change.

Be well

Michelle
